Around the historic Square and the streets near the Truman Home, many yards are shaded by silver maples, elms and oaks that have had decades to grow, often right up over the roof and the service lines. Farther east, toward Little Blue Parkway, the subdivisions are newer and the trees younger.

From our base in Lee's Summit, Independence is about 20 to 25 minutes north on M-291 or I-470, close enough for estimates, recurring trims and storm calls.
